User Notice
Understand what the platform currently provides, the conditions for opening matching, and the separate responsibilities of workers and businesses.
Version: TW-USER-NOTICE-2026-08-02 | Updated: August 2, 2026
What service does TravelWork currently provide?
TravelWork provides short-shift information, account, and job-management tools. In-platform matching, applications, and posting will open only after the required Taiwan employment-service conditions, internal review, and launch gates are complete. The business and worker enter the actual employment relationship directly; TravelWork is not the employer and does not replace advice for a specific case.
Who this applies to
Looking for work?
Are you a business?
1. Platform role and launch status
- TravelWork is a short-shift information and matching service. It is not a labor-dispatch company and does not replace the business as employer.
- Formal matching is subject to private employment-service licensing, contracts, and operating conditions. Posting and applications remain closed until those conditions are complete.
- Flows and examples on the site do not prove that jobs exist or guarantee selection, attendance, or income.
2. Worker notice
- The ordinary worker flow currently focuses on Republic of China citizens who complete the required identity and age checks. Other eligibility categories are accepted only after the corresponding verification and legal workflow is ready and announced.
- Workers under 18 may face special limits on hours, night work, hazardous work, and guardian consent. The platform may set a higher age for particular shifts.
- Before applying, verify the employer, duties, wage, hours, breaks, location, clothing, and safety requirements. Do not lend accounts, impersonate others, or submit false details.
- Stop and report requests for deposits, retained identity documents, undisclosed duties, or apparently unlawful work.
3. Business notice
- The business must be the actual hirer and wage payer and may not use the platform to avoid employer obligations or misstate the work.
- Post the date, start and end time, breaks, duties, location, wage calculation, and payment method clearly. Do not misuse 'negotiable' where wage disclosure is required.
- Businesses remain responsible for contracts, minimum wage, hours, overtime, leave, occupational injury, workplace safety, insurance, and necessary records.
- Do not discriminate on prohibited grounds, collect deposits, retain identity documents, or ask workers to perform illegal, hazardous, or undisclosed work.
4. Sign-in and account security
- Signing in identifies a member and opens authorized areas. It does not create a shift or automatically accept future material changes.
- Use an email and password you control. Do not share accounts, password-reset links, or ask others to complete identity checks.
- The platform may restrict access for security, identity concerns, unusual activity, or legal requirements. Reset your password and contact support after suspicious access.
- Google and LINE sign-in stay disabled until the legal-consent and account-linking flows are complete.
5. Personal data and consent records
- The Terms, Privacy Policy, and this notice appear before registration. A member profile is created only after an affirmative checkbox.
- The platform records the document versions, member type, language, and time of acceptance. This record does not add IP addresses or browser user-agent strings.
- Personal data should be collected and used only for a specified purpose and within what is necessary. Access, correction, cessation, and deletion rights follow the Privacy Policy and law.
- Do not post identity numbers, bank details, full home addresses, or unnecessary sensitive data in public jobs or messages.
6. Prohibited conduct, reports, and disputes
- False jobs, impersonation, fraud, wage evasion, harassment, discrimination, unlawful work, account trading, and conduct that endangers others are prohibited.
- The platform may remove content, limit accounts, preserve necessary records, and cooperate with lawful investigations. Review is not a complete endorsement of any party.
- For disputes about duties, wage, or attendance, preserve the job page, messages, attendance, and payment records before using contractual, support, or authority procedures.
- This page is general guidance, not legal advice for a specific case. Rights and duties depend on applicable law, contracts, and authority decisions.
